Isaac Dwimoh-Opoku, Managing Director of Orient Property Consulting, has called on graduate professionals entering the built environment sector to equip themselves with the tools necessary for success in both corporate institutions and public service. He emphasized that this is essential for transforming the built environment and advancing the real estate economy.
Speaking at the Real Estate Career Launch Pad 2024, organized by Orient Property Consulting in collaboration with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Dwimoh-Opoku said the event aims to introduce new graduates and young professionals to industry best practices.
“The strategic collaboration between RICS and Orient Property Consulting is, first and foremost, to introduce new graduates and young professionals to the industry’s best practices,” he stated.
The event also sought to highlight diverse career opportunities in real estate while equipping participants with problem-solving skills necessary to drive organizational and national progress.
“At Orient Property Consulting, some of our core values include excellence in service delivery, strict adherence to ethical standards, and continuous professional development. For over 150 years, RICS has promoted these same values, shaping the practices of built environment professionals worldwide,” Dwimoh-Opoku stressed.
The Real Estate Career Launch Pad is set to become an annual event aimed at preparing young professionals in Africa for rewarding careers in the built environment sector. The virtual event attracted participants from 17 universities and technical institutions across Ghana, offering insights into career paths in Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Estate Management, and other related fields.
