Kenneth Gilbert Adjei, Ghana’s Minister for Works, Housing and Water Resources, will lead a high-level delegation of government officials and real estate stakeholders to the Canada edition of the Diaspora Property Expo (DPE 2025), taking place from 24–25 May at the Delta Hotels Toronto Airport & Conference Centre. The Diaspora Property Expo is one of Africa’s largest real estate exhibitions, offering Africans abroad the chance to explore credible property ownership and investment opportunities back home. The Canada edition follows the successful U.S. leg in Philadelphia earlier this year, with Ghana taking center stage for 2025. At the official launch in Toronto, Ghana’s Consul General, Peter Kobina Taylor, stressed the importance of diaspora investment in Ghana’s economic growth, especially within real estate. The event’s mission is to strengthen Ghana–Canada ties while promoting sustainable, community-driven housing projects.

The Toronto event will feature panel discussions, cultural showcases, and networking sessions, bringing together developers, financial institutions, investors, government officials, and diaspora stakeholders. According to Verus Nartey, Executive Director of Diaspora Property Investment Ltd, the expo provides unmatched opportunities for engagement and collaboration. In a message to attendees, Minister Kenneth Gilbert Adjei said Ghana’s real estate sector is still evolving and recognises the diaspora as a key partner in shaping its future. He urged participants to take advantage of DPE 2025, describing it as a bridge that connects the diaspora with verified and strategic property opportunities in Ghana.

The delegation will also include Rev. Yaw Osei, Chief Director at the Ministry, and Dr James Orleans Lindsay, President of GREDA. Together, they will present Ghana’s vision for sustainable housing and property investment. DPE 2025 Canada is organised by Diaspora Property Investment Ltd in collaboration with the Ministry of Works, Housing and Water Resources, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, GREDA, the Ghana High Commission in Ottawa, the Ghana Consulate in Toronto, and several private partners.
