The Ghana Property & Lifestyle Expo (GPLE) has recorded unprecedented attendance and real estate transactions at its “three continents in three months” global series. Founded nearly nine years ago by sisters Anna and Victoria Agyekum, the Expo has become a leading force in Ghana’s booming real estate and tourism market, creating a safe and transparent platform for diaspora investment.
With Ghana’s residential property market projected to reach $456.10 billion by the end of 2025 and maintain a steady growth rate of 3.44% annually until 2029, the Expo’s impact is profound. The 2024 edition began in Washington DC in October, continued in London in November, and concluded in Accra in December, showcasing Ghana as a global property investment hub.
Distinguished speakers included Keith McMahon MBE, UK’s Deputy High Commissioner to Ghana; Diana Afriyie Addo, Head of Trade & Investment at the Ghana High Commission UK & Ireland; Justice Barima Yaw Kodie Oppong, Director of Legal Education at the Ghana School of Law and Justice of the Court of Appeal; Evans Amoah-Nyamekye of the Ghana Bar Association; and Marsha de Cordova MP, UK. Their insights highlighted the Expo’s role in providing accurate information, boosting investor confidence, and driving sustainable housing solutions.
Victoria Agyekum stressed that Ghana’s real estate boom is driven by strong global investor demand, diaspora interest, and urbanization, positioning Accra as a hotspot for both tourism and residency. Anna Agyekum added that rising demand, luxury apartments, gated communities, and rental yields ranging between 6–10% are offering solid returns for property investors.
Backed by private sector leaders such as Access Bank (Ghana) Ltd, the GPLE continues to bridge gaps, empower the diaspora, and fuel economic growth. The 2025 global series is scheduled to return to Washington DC in October, London in November, and Accra in December.
