Ghana-Diaspora Property Festival set to bolster investments, partnerships in real estate

Ghana-Diaspora Property Festival

In the wake of the successful ‘Year of Return, Ghana 2019’ campaign, which drew the black to rediscover their roots and explore opportunities in Ghana, the country is gearing up for another groundbreaking initiative—the “Ghana-Diaspora Property Festival.”

Since the ‘Year of Return,’ Ghana has experienced a surge in visits from the black diaspora and foreigners, notably during the Christmas festivities.

High-profile personalities, including WWE champion Kofi Kingston, Idris Elba, Boris Codjoe, Usher, Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, Meek Mill, and Chance the Rapper, have graced the nation with their presence.

This influx has resulted in increased revenue from tourism, deals, partnerships in various sectors, and a strengthened bond with the African diaspora.

The upcoming “Ghana-Diaspora Property Festival” aims to build on this momentum by bringing together members of the diaspora community and developers to explore investment opportunities in Ghana. The festival, scheduled for December 22 to 23, 2023, at the International Conference Centre (AICC), seeks to create a one-stop shop for property-related needs, including building materials, sanitary ware, interior decor, furniture, and properties.

Organized to attract top real estate developers both locally and internationally, the event will feature foreign and local exhibitors, construction firms, banks, insurance companies, and suppliers. The festival’s primary objective is to facilitate business partnerships and create opportunities for investment by fostering connections among professionals from diverse business backgrounds.

The festival promises not only a business-oriented environment but also a vibrant display of food, culture, and musical performances. It anticipates drawing thousands of people from the diaspora community and locally.

Investing in Ghana’s real estate market is touted as a wise decision due to factors such as political stability, good returns on investment, easy accessibility, a rapidly growing marketplace, and enticing incentives. The “Ghana-Diaspora Property Festival” offers an ideal platform for investors to explore these opportunities.

Registration for exhibitors is free, with a limited number of booths available. Attendees can also look forward to incentives, including discounts of up to 15% on all products, and exclusive networking opportunities. The festival promises to be a catalyst for fostering connections, promoting investment, and celebrating the vibrant cultural exchange between Ghana and the diaspora.
