Elegant Homes hosts Annual Health and Family Fun Day to promote employee well-being

Elegant Homes and General Construction, one of Ghana’s premier real estate developers, has successfully held its annual Health and Family Fun Day at Elegant Courts, reinforcing its commitment to employee wellness and workplace culture.

Speaking to Joy Business, Executive Director Dorothy Quarshie highlighted the event’s impact, noting that it has created a more supportive and energetic work environment. She explained that the program, introduced last year, combines health screenings with recreation to ensure staff return refreshed after a busy construction season. “Good health promotes productivity, and that’s why we organise this event,” she emphasized, adding that the company looks forward to business growth, new designs, and increased sales in the coming year.

The health screenings, led by Dr. Lovia Allotey Babington and her medical team, included essential checks such as blood glucose and blood pressure, as well as PSA tests for men over 50. Free medication was provided to staff, underscoring the company’s genuine concern for employee health. Beyond medical care, the day featured interdepartmental sports competitions, children’s entertainment, and a celebratory party, creating a balanced atmosphere of health, family, and fun.
