Chamber of Real Estate and Chartered Institute of Realtors to host lecture series

In a move to advance collaborative efforts, the (CRE) has strengthened its strategic partnership with the Chartered Institute of (CIR) by jointly hosting an upcoming lecture series program. This initiative reflects a commitment to enhancing knowledge and standards within the global industry.

The Chamber of Real Estate serves as a collective hub for various stakeholders in the global real estate arena, encompassing owners, engineers, architects, surveyors, marketers, developers, contractors, lawyers, homeowners, valuers, and brokers. With a focus on catalyzing industry growth on a global scale, the Chamber provides services such as project launching, exhibitions, summits, and a range of training and workshop programs.

On the other side, the was established to sharpen the knowledge, skills, standards, and experiences of practitioners within the estate industry. It also aims to introduce and orient individuals interested in the estate space. The Institute has recently laid out plans to organize lecture series aligning with its core operations.

The CIR’s upcoming lecture series, scheduled to commence between the second and third quarters of this year, follows the success of the previous year’s Ghana Property Festival. The series is set to feature seasoned professionals in law, business, real estate, tax, and more, with discussions covering diverse topics such as land law, real estate taxation, asset management, principles of surveying, commercial real estate, and economics.

The inaugural season of the lecture series will place a specific focus on Land Law. Topics to be covered include property rights and ownership, land registration, land transactions and documentation, and legal aspects of development projects, among others.

By partnering with the Chartered Institute of Realtors, the Chamber of Real Estate aims to fulfil its mandate of promoting the robustness of the real estate industry through its activities and resources. This collaboration is anticipated to significantly strengthen the real estate sector as a whole, fostering unity and engagement within the industry.
