The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has crowned Brynx Haven Guest House in Cape Coast as the 2024 Guest House of the Year at a prestigious ceremony held at the Castle Gardens, Osu, on Friday, October 25, 2024.

This recognition follows Brynx Haven’s earlier win as Central Region Guest House of the Year, showcasing its consistent excellence in the hospitality industry.

In its citation, the GTA commended Brynx Haven for its exceptional service, affordable rates, and unmatched guest experience, describing it as a “home-away-from-home” with well-furnished rooms, manicured surroundings, and professional staff. The guest house was praised for blending comfort, culture, and value, making it a preferred choice for both domestic and international travellers.

Accepting the award, Mr. Isaac Hayford, CEO of Brynx Haven, expressed gratitude to his dedicated team, attributing the honour to their commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction. Mr. Hayford, an architect and building contractor, is already expanding the Cape Coast facility and recently launched a new branch at Ashieyie near Adenta, featuring boutique hospitality experiences.

The event, which celebrated 36 awardees across Ghana’s tourism sector, was attended by key industry leaders including Tourism Minister Andrew Egyapa Mercer, his Deputy Mark Okraku Mantey, GTA CEO Akwasi Agyeman, board members, and members of the diplomatic corps.
