The primary objective of establishing the Institute is to provide opportunities for enhancing the knowledge, skills, standards, and experiences of practitioners in the real estate industry to meet global standards.
The real estate sector in Africa is experiencing rapid growth, offering numerous investment opportunities. This expansion is propelled by urbanization, population growth, and increased foreign investment.
Globally, real estate has played a pivotal role in the development agenda of economically advanced countries, generating employment for thousands of individuals with diverse skill sets and backgrounds.
Cities like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Barcelona, and New York are renowned for their architectural prowess and have become major global destinations due to their real estate achievements.
The African continent is not lagging behind in this development trend. The government’s involvement in providing housing, particularly for the low-income sector, signals a promising future for Africa.
The Chartered Institute of Realtors recognizes the industry’s fast-growing rate worldwide, emphasizing the need for players, both potential and major, to be equipped with the necessary tools to enhance global industry activities.
As part of its vision and mission, the CIR launch will initiate a series of seminars and workshops involving seasoned speakers, lecturers, and industry professionals from renowned institutions worldwide.
These events aim to share knowledge and experience to benefit industry players.
Looking ahead, the institute envisions establishing itself as a professional body providing education and training courses to its members, contributing to the continuous growth and development of the real estate industry in Ghana.
