The city of Accra, until now, has lacked a crucial feature: a green, modern, and eco-friendly family fun park. Aquimiini, in partnership with the Owusu-Akyaw family, collaborators of Accra Mall, envisions filling this void by introducing Ghud Park, situated on the Accra Mall premises.
Ghud Park represents a fusion of expertise and innovation, poised to revolutionize leisure and entertainment experiences in Accra. The project combines the strengths of Aquimiini and Accra Mall to create a multifaceted destination catering to diverse interests.
Key sections of the park will include a grassed area for events, a skating rink and children’s playground, a container bar, stalls, seating area, an open plaza area, and a car park. The project aligns with a commitment to actively support a quarter of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly focusing on health and well-being (SDG 3), quality education (SDG 4), sustainability within urban environments and communities (SDG 11), and partnerships to achieve overarching goals (SDG 17).
While the official inauguration of Ghud Park is scheduled for May 2024, a series of outdoor events preceding the launch will provide the community with an exclusive preview of the park’s potential and excitement.
